The safest way to remove blackheads without damaging the surrounding tissue is with the Schamberg Comedone Extractor. This is a fine loop extractor that is placed over the blackhead, encircling the area with the loop. Applying even pressure on the surface of the skin extracts the blackhead. Wipe the instrument with rubbing alcohol after each use. Do not share instrument with others for hygienic reasons.
